Haydn’s majestic Nelson Mass and Te Deum, and Handel Arias in two beautiful choral concerts, with Hawke’s Bay Orchestra.

The Missa in angustiis, commonly known as the Nelson Mass, is a Mass setting by Austrian composer Joseph Haydn. It is one of the six masses written near the end of his life that are seen as a culmination of Haydn's composition of liturgical music.

Friday 17 October 7.30pm at St Paul’s Church, Tennyson St, Napier. The concert will be repeated on Sunday 19 October 2.30pm at the Church.
